Description: Nice vintage 1940s heavy duty Bakelite razor with styptic pencil built into the handle. I believe this is of European origin (most likely French, Belgian or German). The head is designed to angle the blade quite heavily, which was fairly common for the era, but perhaps it wasn't too great of a thing considering they felt the need to build in the stuff for treating nicks and cuts. The styptic pencil is decaying and falling apart, but it does look to be fairly normal in size so you might be able to clean this and replace it with a modern one.
