Description: We are offering a vintage circa 1940's Acoma Pueblo pottery canteen decorated with the stylized parrot and fine line design typical of the Lewis family. Unsigned. Measures 4 1/4" tall x 4 1/4" wide. In very good original condition. There are two chips to the opening with minor flaking around them; one measures 3/8" x 1/8" and the other measures 1/8" x 1/8". Overall dirt from years of being at Acoma Pueblo - we did not attempt to clean. Scattered shallow flaking on underside. Please study the pictures as they are part of the description.
