Description: This is a vintage souvenir from the 1937 Convention of the Alpha Kappa Delta Sorority. It is a solid cast metal ship with a card holder attached. The insignia on the sail is marked: Alpha Kappa Delta (in Greek letters), Nov. 1887. A paper is glued into the card holder that is marked: 1937 Convention. The Sorority was founded in 1920 at USC, so I am not sure what the 1887 and 50th year convention is all about. USC was founded in 1880. The piece is about 4" long and 2 5/8" tall. No cracks, chips or breaks.
