Description: Up for sale is this vintage B&W photograph of a group of sexy women in swimsuits posing with rifles.Awesome find here. Searching around the internet I was only able to find a modern colorized version of this photo and someone on eBay selling reprints. This one I have for sale is B&W, vintage, and completely original. This is a NOT a copy or a print. Here is a description of the photo I found online:An unknown corporal from the US Army's 30th Infantry Division (based in the San Francisco Presidio) stands to attention with a group of women in two-piece bathing costumes, doughboy helmets, and heels. They are each holding an M1917 Enfield rifle, on a parade ground in Camp George Derby, on the grounds of the California Pacific International Exposition in Balboa Park, San Diego California. The image was taken on August 1, 1935. Mostly obscured behind the women is the entrance to the expo's so-called 'Indian Village'. Photo is from approx.1935. Size is approx. 4 3/8" x 6 1/2". The photo shown is the exact one you'll receive. It's in excellent condition with surface wear. And there are two dark spots to the top left border border edge and the bottom center-right, underneath one of the girl's feet. These are minor issues though. USPS Ground Advantage shipping is $5.Auction is open to U.S. bidders only. All sales are final. No returns. Any questions you may have please ask before bidding/buying.Thank you for looking!
