Description: This is a great vintage men’s manual wind watch from Waltham. The serial number of 28262714 dates the movement to 1934. I found an ad with a drawing of the watch with different hands. That ad says the watch has lumed hands and dial. Maybe they put these hands on ones without lumed dials? I put a copy of the ad in my photos just for your information. Many of these movements have 7 jewels; this one has 9 jewels. The movement was serviced; it runs great and keeps time. I’ve been test driving it, and this type of winding crown/stem (which is part of the case) winds smoother if you gently push the crown in while winding. I like the cosmetics. My research shows the Tivoli case to be 14k White Gold filled. The dial and hands are decent. The glass crystal has some scratches, but I don’t think they are that noticeable in a watch like this. The watch also has a new 16mm band. I love the way it looks on the wrist! The case is 27mm wide not counting the crown, and 39mm long including the lugs. See photos for more details.
