You are bidding on a unique antique, circa 1940s or wartime era, maybe earlier, not sure of the exact age, silk pillow topper type, embroidered textile piece that's been framed in a wood frame. It's a really beautiful old one with an embroidered country of Japan with islands and the embroidered names of the larger cities including Tokyo, Nara, Nagasaki, Sasebo, Kobe, Osaka, Yokosuka, and several others.Also embroidered are the outlines of a mountain top in the upper right corner and the very detailed embroidered traditional Japan house on a stone cliff. Beautiful old textile art. Frame has some paint loss, but the silk textile looks really nice, framed could use a cleaning. Framed, it's about 18 1/2 inches tall and 18 1/2 inches wide.
