Description: This Auburn baseball uniform jersey appears to date to the 1920's. It is wool and has no numbers on the back (numbers on baseball uniforms did not become common until the late 1920's). The jersey is grey with red sewn on felt letters and piping. This is an adult size but there is no tag inside with the exact size. My best guess would be a men's size 40 or 42. The makers tag is intact and indicates in was made by North West Sporting Goods of Chicago. There is moth damage as shown in the photos. Extremely rare item from a top intercollegiate baseball team in the SEC.
