Description: This is a really nice, original numbered badge for an employee at the Boston Naval Shipyard (Navy Yard Boston). Based on the construction of the badge itself, I am guessing pre-WW2. Possibly 1920s or 1930s. Stamped metal badge with heavy pin fastener on the back side. No hallmark. The badge measues 45mm in width. Overall condition is good, although there is significant wear and it is missing the catch on the back for the pin.
