No. 18 Steel Square Southington Hardware Co. was in business from 1908 to 1973 The following are my observations and comments, but please reference the pictures and ask questions to make your own assessment. This vintage Southington Hardware Co. square is in good condition for its age, with some pitting from corrosion. Please note that both legs are tapered, which indicates an early production, and although they sight fairly straight, they do have some kinks.
