They cannot be removed from the board.They were made in GermanyVictorian-era, early 1900s, definitely pre-1940s.Very beautiful early Valentine's Day cardsWould have been carried around by a salesman as a salesman sample to show off the cards that could be purchasedEach card is designed to move using a paper pull tab on the side of the card.One of the cards measured 5.5" x 5.25" so most of them should be close to that.The entire board itself measures approx. 14" x 11"Would look great framed! Condition Details: This is a salesman sample display so the cards have been affixed to the board and cannot be removed without damaging them. These cards all are designed to move and have a paper tab on each card to make the motion happen. Cards all move as they're to but due to age they do have wear and a couple have some difficulty still moving appropriately due to damage over time and age. I urge caution when trying to make the cards move because they could be damaged further. Sold as is. See pictures for details.
