Vintage 13" Heavy CRAFTSMAN MADE HATCHET w/ File Handle from Colorado mountain estate - nicely hand made!!handle is shaped from a ~3/16" filehead is welded on - its very professionally shaped - its flat/parallel for a bit then tapers down to the edge w/ a uniform taperhandle is??? looks like some sort of dense plastic?? attached w/ brass flat head 1/4" boltsmade in the 1950s? maybe 1930s??sheath, with belt loops is of laced construction - could be a modified commercial sheath???hatchet is a heavier that a similar sized Estwing hatchet - VERY sturdily constructed the whole hatchet, while parts are a bit crude, is VERY NICELY craftsman made, very sturdy
