Description: Vintage seed beads made in Czechoslovakia in the 1960’s in the Ornella seed bead factory. This glass is truly beautiful with its haunting look. This glass is sometimes known as milk glass. The strands are about 22” long and have about 400 beads on each strand. They measure about 2mm in diameter. As with most Czech seed beads, there are slight variations in the size which can be seen upon close examination. Some designers prize this quality in seed beads. The pictures are my best attempt to show the beauty of these beads and there are several photos with different sources of light as well as placement. You can see the translucence of the glass.
