The jump ring at the top of the charm has an eagle's head on it which indicates 18 karat gold and France and was used in the early 1800s to denote this. This vinaigrette is two sided it has a cheer up on one side and a fancy lady on the other please see pictures. Being ameling on the lady side has a crazing line that goes from right to left on the bottom right corner.
