Description: White metal (lead?) over 1 1/8” (1.19”) height. Iconic heart form with cusped top. Broad borders enclosing an incised trefoil. The top with a nub, perhaps for tying to the deceased. The heart stood for bravery, fortitude, loyalty, integrity, all attributes of the Viking warrior. It is abundantly referenced in Viking literature.
