Cassell, USN (the Commanding Officer).Includes images or partial images of aircraft including the Tracer, a firepower demonstration, and the F-8 Crusader.Photos belonged to Major General John Freund. During his time in South Vietnam, Freund performed duties as Deputy Senior Corps Advisor, Director of Training for Military Assistance Command, Vietnam (MACV), Assistant Director of the Joint United States Public Affairs Office, Special Assistant to the COMUSMACV General William Westmoreland, and commander of the 199th Light Infantry Brigade.
