The sling is the brownish green nylon color with the compression buckle. No fraying, no rips or tears. This sling is in Unissued Condition. It is still in the original packaging. They are unopened, except for the example shown in the photo. All of the slings are contract dated 1969. Nylon was used during the Vietnam War to prevent the rotting problem with canvas, from exposure to the jungle climate and moisture.NOTE: the last sling sold will be the one that was opened for the photos. It has been resealed in the original packaging.
