Grandpa lived in Ft. Madison, Iowa, where Sheaffer Pen Company was and still is headquartered. At the time, fine pens like theirs were often sold in jewelry stores, so Grandpa has envelopes from lots of jewelers, stationers and fancy pen stores around the world that must have once held payments or orders. Envelope is slit at top and right edges from opening and removal of contents. Envelope is from Walter Kohn, Mechanical Engineer, Vienna, Austria to W.A. Sheaffer Pen Company in Fort Madison, Iowa, USA. 60 Groschen stamp is in nice shape. Cancellation is 10 August, 1937 in Vienna (Wien). I will ship as soon as I receive payment.
