Description: Stunningly beautiful. Excellent vintage condition. Was probably a vase made into a lamp. The base is wooden, carved and painted to match the pattern of the glass. Possibly a one of a kind. Hard to say because it matches it so perfectly. Glass is completely intact, having no damage or repairs. The paint on the wood is a little stained or faded with age and has some chipping on the edges. To me, this just gives it a distressed, antique look. Fittings are brass with a metal harp. Finial is swirled glass on a brass base and matches the lamp perfectly. The finial is my favorite part of the lamp. I’ve never seen another one like it…I have hundreds of finials. The cord and socket are in good shape and the lamp works. The white inner part of the lamp glass emits a green magnesium glow under a black light. Original felt on the bottom is partially detached but could easily be glued back. Height of the lamp to the finial is 33 inches, and the height to the top of the glass is 14.5 inches.
