The basket features a pierced design on either end of the handle and top of the handle,around the footed base. The glass insert features a thumbprint and slash design with a scalloped rim. The rim of the bowl is beveled and there are straw marks through out. The handle is stationary. Condition: The basket is in fine condition with no breaks or visible repairs. The silver plate is in good condition as shown in the pictures. The Victorian glass bowl fits into the frame properly but It may or may not be original. The bowl features a scalloped rim with no cracks or chips. Size: The basket stands 13.5 inches tall and measures 10.25 inches wide at the widest point.
