The rivet in gild brass jewelled with pearls. Hand-made and hand-painted fan with romantic scene typical for the period. Two young ladies on bench and courtier gentleman. The painting with gouache colors on silk artist signed E.Gramaud? The fan is in excellent condition. Found at estate sale in Nice, France. Comes with original luxury silk covered presentation box by Benjamin Lachelin, the box branded inside and lined in silk. B.Lachelin producing fans in Paris late 19th to early 20th century.
