This listing is for a vintage double clarinet case. It will fit both a standard key of Bb soprano clarinet, along with a key of A soprano. This case is very old. I would guess that it is from around the turn of the 20th century, but it might even be pre-1900. In all honesty, this is more of a collector's item or curiosity piece than something you'd want for day-to-day use. This is a very basic case, so it doesn't have special spots to hold mouthpieces and barrels like newer cases do. It is basically a wood shell box with minimal blocking and some clips to hold the instruments in place. This case is in good condition for its age. The wood shell joints aren't coming apart. The latches still work, though they are a little bit rusty. The handle is intact, but it is missing a rivet from one of the plates that anchors it to the case. There are spots on the exterior where the covering is scuffed away revealing the underlying wood shell. It has a college name stenciled on the bottom of the exterior. The interior is pretty clean and odor free. It has normal wear. The felt is worn away from some of the clips, so you'd probably want to put something on those to prevent your instrument from getting scratched.
