Yellow Brick NOT included. This Ultra Rare pair of Bugle Bead Slippers are like no others out there! (Other than the originals!) these Slippers were made by a Naugatuck Connecticut native! He lives minutes away from the house Adrian grew up in, and less than a mile from his parent’s Millinery shop on Church St. The Ruby Red Slippers are undoubtedly the most recognizable movie prop of all time! But most don’t know that there were 3 separate designs for the Ruby Slippers we know today. The Bugle Bead Slippers were Adrian’s 2nd design for the Ruby Slippers. They were actually used for the first 10 days of shooting before Director Richard Thorpe was removed from production. This very pair has been on display for 1000’s of people and has been brought to numerous shows displaying them for the town to view and cherish in the memory of Adrian! The base shoe is a vintage 1930’s pump size 5 1/2 B! The slippers come with a short bio written by the local artist on the original designer Adrian Greenberg! !!!DISPLAY PURPOSES ONLY!!!
