Description: Petrified Wood from the Mineral Belt in Western Colorado. This a nice specimen of Petrified Wood that has been carbonized in a fire. Possibly "Firestone". Look closely to see the actual petrified charred sections. Some calcite on surface. Some Pictures of specimen while wet. Super Rare! Very hard. Nice color! Will polish nicely.
