Description: A Very Rare 1900 Flow Blue Wash Bowl & Pitcher Vanity Set, "Belmont" Pattern, produced by Alfred Meakin, England. This is a large pitcher and bowl set in a striking Flow Blue Belmont pattern with deep & light blue flowers accented by gold. This is a big set. The bowl measures 16 1/2" in diameter and stands 5" tall with a 7" base diameter. The pitcher stands 13" tall, with a top diameter of 11" (from spout to handle) and a base diameter of 5 5/8". Together the set stands 16" tall and weighs 10 lbs. This set is in pristine condition with no chips or fleabites. It does have some manufacturing bubbles and spots, which are typical of the Flow Blue processing techniques.
