Description: Very Old Coors Porcelain Mortar & Pestle Made In The U.S.A. Hard To Find Size 1 Very old Coors porcelain mortar and pestle made in the USA. The 3.5 inch diameter mortar is labeled "COORS, USA, 1" in the blue print on the side and an impressed "1" on the underside. The pestle is 4 inches long and labeled "COORS, USA". With the mortar & pestle I found another small mortar so I have kept them together. I do not see any markings on the smaller (approx 2 in diameter) mortar. All pieces are in very good condition. There are a few small spots / stains on the working surfaces. No chips, cracks or repairs. I believe my grandmother used these regularly throughout her life. I could not find any information on Size 1. All other examples had lots more numbers and letters. Great little set.
