Description: My father was a plank-owner deployed aboard the sub-chaser PC-477 for the majority of World War II. During his tour of the Pacific he acquired this bayonet. It has been sitting in one of my drawers for years and should belong to a serious collector. I have highlighted the flaws (two dents in scabbard) with pen pointing them out in pictures 8 and 9. The scabbard and frog are original to the bayonet. The marking stamped on the blade near the guard appears to be the Tokyo Hohei Kosho Arsenal or the Tokyo Rigugun Zoheisho Arsenal.
