Description: Sadly, the time has come to downsize so I will be selling some of my favorite collections. Since Christmas is coming, I am starting with the Department 56 Alpine Village series. I have collected these over many years, but only displayed this one on one occasion. I am the original owner. Today's piece is called "The Finishing Touch." It features a German artist putting the finishing touches to a St. Nicholas doll he has painted. With a careful stroke of the brush, this talented artist applies the final details to a remarkable rendition of St. Nick. This one is very cute. Released in 2002 and retired in 2004, it comes boxed and in absolutely perfect condition. The box is also in excellent condition with virtually no signs of wear from storage. The trees in the background are not included in the sale.
