I had them made in a Tibetan shop in front of the Boudhanath Stupa in Kathmandu. It's very well made. The beads are made from hand-carved Bodhi wood, which is the tree where Buddha found his enlightenment. Each bead has an inlay work: coral and turquoise stones or alternating with brass. At the bottom there is a very beautiful, silky tassel in turquoise green, matching the beads of the mala. The mala feels great in the hand!
