Still, these gospel singers get their points across without getting too vehement, demonstrating that the power resides in the Almighty. That's what Micah Stampley means when, in "Corinthian Song," she works herself up to declaring, "I'm a vessel full of power with a treasure from the Lord." Finally, Juanita Bynum manages to be powerful on "Soul Cry (Oh, Oh, Oh)," without even singing, for the most part.
