Simply remove the hinge pin and locking pin from the original motor and drop the new one on top of the head. The original belt and brake are retained. Mount the electrical box either to the mill or the wall nearby, ten feet of cable is provided for incoming power, motor leads, and the umbilical to the touch screen. The touch screen can be mounted on a user supplied arm or bracket. The touchscreen allows for ultimate control of the spindle rpm. Simply key in the direction or the spindle, whether you’re operating in back gear or not, and then the desired rpm. Turn it on and mill away. Tapping is super simple, just touch the reverse button and the motor will reverse within a few seconds. An industrial quality Control Techniques drive is used. Fuses are provided on incoming power circuit.
