An update of the Authentic, this iconic Era 59 is finished with a bold bright blue lining, blue & white Vans woven logo tab, and retains the cushioned innersole and EVA foam footbed built on a classic gum rubber vulcanized Vans signature waffle sole with white sidewalls, blue sidewall stripe, and white and blue Vans logo heel tab that made it such a resilient skate shoe. Textile material is breathable, stronger, and more resistant to bad weather. Made legendary by Tony Alva and the Dogtown crew - this became skateboarding's first shoe back in 1976 and harks back to the early days of skate when the Van Dorren family ruled.
