It is made of ebonite (hard rubber). This one has the "profile 88' beak slope, which some players prefer because it has a shallower angle from the tip to the body. This mouthpiece is in excellent used condition. The facing is perfectly smooth, and original. There are no tooth gouges, or even scratches, on the beak. The rubber is still black and shiny, and the logo/markings are clear. There is barely a scratch on the exterior. The cork is in good condition. It has been cleaned/sanitized.
