Description: Vandal Hearts was a memorable addition to Konami's PS1 game era lineup so of course it spawned a sequel. The sequel was an interesting one, taking the already dark atmosphere of the game further - Warden Mohosa anyone? It also built upon the strategy system in a way that was perhaps a little too unique with your characters and the enemy acting at the same time in a turn based game! Needless to say it wasn't an easy game to figure out but thankfully Prima put out a guide to help! They noted ways to get the upper hand in the combat system, included plenty of maps, and very thorough equipment lists - something you need when your abilities come down to your gear! It also included details on the game's secrets, including how to get the elusive and powerful Vandal Hearts sword, and how to get all the endings - even if it doesn't do a good job of pointing you to what's considered the best one! As mentioned the guide is largely in good shape. It has been read and signs of that are around the edges and there's a bit of damage to the bottom of the spine but nothing that compromises the book in any way. There's no writing and none of the pages are even partially loose. If you want to go through Vandal Hearts II the old fashioned way or are just a fan of the series give it a look!
