Description: VERY RARE PAIR Van Hoople Hillside Original Impasto Gothic/Jacobean Style Paintings Textured Oil from 1973. Painted on board, these paintings were likely in one home before I acquired them. They are in exceptional condition except for some surface damage on along the top of one frame, please see image. Highly textured and no apparent paint loss. Vivid colors. Both paintings are signed by Van Hoople, please see images. Together, they weigh approximately 20 lbs, and measure 35” x 20” x 3”. Regarding pickup option, their current location is Lawrence, Kansas, but arrangements could also be made to schedule pickup in the Madison, Wisconsin area.
