Thanks for taking a L👀K!!! 🏀COMMENTS FROM THE CHEAP SEATS: I think that Coach Chancellor's winning percentage gets overshadowed by the incredible team he landed on in the WNBA back in its inaugural year of 1997. Yes it's true that by having both Cynthia Cooper & Sheryl Swoopes plus having the #1 Draft Pick with Tina Thompson added to the mix has its advantages, but it shouldn't take away from his winning style of coaching in the process. At Ole Miss, from 1978-1997, he coached the Lady Rebels to a .740 winning percentage that ended with a win/loss record of 439-159! After spending 10 years with the Houston Comets, his win/loss record of 211-111, with a winning percentage of .655 which still remains as the winningest record in WNBA history! In 1998 the team's .900 (27-3) winning percentage is the highest ever achieved not only in WNBA history, but in NBA history as well. HOF Coach Chancellor deserves more credit for the above feats than what he gets in my humble opinion.
