Description: Vaillancourt Folk Art Chalkware 2000 Starlight Santa Figurine #11. This is a ltd edition piece #512 of 2000. It is signed and numbered on the bottom. Figurine is approx. 7 5/8" tall. Comes with the original box and packaging. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. This Vaillancourt original was made in the Vaillancourt Studios in Sutton, Mass. Vaillancourt Folk Art has been making chalkware originals since 1984. Casts are either an antique chocolate or ice cream mould. The 16 Vaillancourt artists recreate Judi Vaillancourt's designs by hand painting in artist oil and then antiquing the piece over a 3-week period of time.
