Description: Offered here is a beautiful and impressive challenge coin that commemorates the A-7 era for the Royal Maces of VA-27. The squadron flew the A-7 Corsair II from 1968 until 1990 from NAS Lemoore. The coin is an impressive 2" wide, and 3mm thick, cast in gold-tone metal with great colors and texture. One side of the coin features the squadron's insignia, while the other side of the coin features an A-7 and the squadron's saying, "Mace in Your Face". Both sides of the coin are framed by a gold-tone rope border. They would make a wonderful gift for anyone who served with VA-27, or would make a great addition to any collection.
