Description: Ok…if somebody reads this and has a clue on this hat please let me know. It looks like the hat in the title but appears brand new. By brand new, I mean as in made within a year. Fabric is stiff and not faded. The lining isn’t super heavy but appears as a wool felt. It has the slightest smell of being military surplus. The size is stenciled in the band but no stenciling of U.S.N. on the back. There is a tag dated Oct. 23, 1939 and a contract number.
