Description: This is an original and Rare early M1907 winter cap. This is the kind used by FDR's CCC or Civilian Conservation Corps. This is in very good condition and ready for your collection or use. The size tag is missing but the size of 7 is inked on the sweat band. This is too tight for a 7 1/4 and would be better suited for a 7. It is also a yellowish khaki color. (see pictures) The buckle on the chin strap is intact and in excellent condition but somehow the soldier configured the strap so it is on the inside. It can be easily made to be n the outside again. I have included a picture from the Government Issue Collectors Guide book for reference purposes. Don't miss a chance to snag a real one.
