US WW2 Named USMC Marine Corps I Air Wing CBI Uniform Jacket Sterling Wing J556

Description: For sale here is a great looking named US WW2 USMC Marine Corps 1st MAW Marine Air Wing China Burma India CBI Air Crew Uniform Jacket & Cap. The jacket is named to Woods in the left sleeve and Probasco in the right sleeve. The jacket is marked size 6M and is dated July 15, 1943. The jacket is in good clean condition with no major issues other than a larger moth nip on the lower front. The cap has a laundry tag that does seem to correspond to either name and is marked size 7 with a nice screw back EGA. The jacket is complete with all plastic buttons. The jacket has machine sewn Corporal rank on each sleeve, a First Marine Air Wing patch on the left shoulder, and a CBI patch on the right sleeve. The jacket has a nice set of matching screw back EGA's. The ribbon bar is a five place wide clutch back plastic covered set. The ribbon bar is missing one clutch back. The pin back marksman badge is not maker marked or hallmarked. The Wing is pin back and is maker marked Amico and has a Sterling hallmark. The great part about the wing is that it is complete with 3 attached mission stars. This is a great looking jacket that is worthy of research.
