Description: USS Hammerhead (SSN-663), a Sturgeon-class submarine, was the second ship of the United States Navy to be named for the hammerhead shark, a voracious fish found in warm seas, with a curious hammerlike head. This large plaque measures 12” tall by 10” wide. The wood is in good shape and shows light scratches, slight discoloration areas, and some light edge nicks. The resin plaque is in good shape and raised. It shows light scratches and edge dings. Overall, nice shape.
