The submarine badge has a world view with a submarine in the ocean and a skull and crossed sabers between the dolphins. The badge measures approximately 3.00" x 1.00". It has two clutch post on the back for attachment. It is purely a novelty badge dedicated to the comradery of submariners. There are four different color versions of this badge (Antique Silver, Antique Gold/Brass, Shiny Silver, & Shiny Gold). The badge has "VANGUARD" on the back. This is a quality badge made by VANGUARD, the same company that makes insignia/badges for all the branches of the U.S. Military (Army, Navy, Air force, Marines, & Cost Guard).
