Patch is sized to Special Forces sleeve flash for reference size. It is 100% embroidered and has Squadron/Troop identifiers. The Indian and arrowhead logo are unique to this unit Headquarters, which is now disbanded. Two round patches are AWG unit patches. Image blurred to prevent counterfeiting. Asymetric Warfare Group was a U.S. Army Special Mission Unit created during the GWOT. It was headquartered at Ft Meade, MD and had a training center at Ft A. P. Hill in VA. It's motto was "Think, Adapt, Anticipate." It was stood up in Jan 2006 and deactivated in Mar. 2021. It was made up of 4 Squadrons: Able to Easy + HQ and HQ support detachment AWG maintained forward deployed subject matter experts with all major U.S. Army combatant commands. It is best known for its work developing countermeasures and TTPs for IEDs. It also was involved in training foreign SOF forces in foreign internal defense Hard to get/find US Army patch for. S.M.U.
