Patch is cut edge with the later dark OD border it does not glow under strong UV light source. Lyerla was assigned to the 11th Air Assault Division when he received orders to go to Vietnam with the newly created 1st Cavalry Division. He was a Signal Corps Officer assigned to the Division Staff, G6. I have several patches from both units that I purchased from his estate. I have included a photo of his business card.
