Description: "UNITED STATES 8th AIR FORCE (1943-45)" hand painted wall shield crafted by C.H. Munday in 1968 The raised emblem mounted upon a wooden plaque is hand painted in great detail. The plaque measures some 7" long and 5 3/4" across. There is hanging hardware on the back marked "Made In GT Britain". This rare vintage item is Good condition. Note that there is a small scratch, which can be seen in the photograph on the right side of the face, consequently, the price has been lowered accordingly. The original identification by the manufacturer, C.H. Munday, remains affixed to the rear of the plaque.
