The tool drawings, as with many U.S. military manuals (including those above) were very small and of poor quality in the original manuals. Blowing the pictures up in size to fit the 8.5 x 11" format makes the diagrams easier to see, but many of the dimensions are unreadable at any size (including in the originals).
