There is a slide switch on the top of the load to shut the system off to preserve the battery life. The car has a brand-new Duracell 9-volt battery installed. This car was made in Austria and imported by Associated Hobby Manufacturers in their line of HO trains, and it is now out of production. Car number is 166592 and build date is 6-52. Car is in excellent condition with no broken steps, and has plastic Bettendorf trucks, and Kadee knuckle couplers. Pictures show both sides of the car.
