Description: This is an unusual and especially pretty lightweight fine net shawl most likely French in origin and dating to around 1900. It is handmade with cherry red sequins and little blue beads in an art nouveau design. It measures 39” long and 17” wide. Most or all of the sequins and beads appear to be intact, however there is a 7” long tear on the net near the neck area. The scarf can still be worn as is or of course it can be mended so I am selling it as is.
