Unknown post-WW2 era VF-2 USN or USAAF Fighter Squadron Japanese Mfg Patch

Description: Mint and unissued, postwar Japanese-made insignia for an undintified USAAF or US Navy Fighter Squadron. Back of patch has "VF-2" written on it, but I cannot find any reference to that unit wearing this insignia. Fully-embroidered, very stiff and large size. Probably made for veterans of the unit, or collectors. Measures seven inches by four and a half inches.
