Description: Vintage Japanese Wooden Hand Carved Phoenix Bird. *I do not know any more details about this item other than what I've listed below. Hand Carved & Painted Marked 1972 *Also other writings & possibly signed. *I do not know what the writing translations are. Measures Approximately: 2 3/4" Tall (measured to the tallest part) 1.5" Across (measured to the longest parts) 3" Wide (measured to the widest parts) In good vintage condition! *There is a pin hole in the neck under the tail, as shown in pictures. *It appears a tiny piece of the bottom beak has possibly chipped off. This is how I found it, so I am not 100% certain. When this figurine is standing upright, it's hard to notice. I didn't notice this possible imperfection until I took close-up photos at different angles. Please see the listed pictures! Thank you for looking!
